Ruane Design Creator Program – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The Ruane Design Creator Program ("Program") allows selected participants ("Creators") to receive one (1) eligible Ruane Design product free of charge, including standard shipping, in exchange for creating and submitting original content featuring the product.

By placing an order using a Creator Program discount code, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be aged 18 years or older.
The Program is limited to one (1) order per person, household, and shipping address.
Only one (1) product may be selected per Creator.
Ruane Design reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any participant from the Program at its sole discretion.

3. What You Receive

Approved Creators will receive:

One (1) selected product free of charge.
Standard shipping free of charge.

The product has no monetary value for the purposes of refunds, exchanges, or compensation as it is provided as part of a promotional collaboration.

4. Creator Content Requirements

Within 21 days of receiving the product, Creators must provide a minimum of three (3) pieces of original content.

Content may consist of:

Photos
Videos
Or a combination of both

Content should include as many of the following as possible:

Unboxing Content

Packaging as received
Opening the package
First impressions

Product Content

Product details and close-ups
Product fully unpacked and displayed

Lifestyle / Usage Content

Examples include:

For Art Prints:

Displayed in a frame
Hung on a wall
Styled within a room

For Stickers:

Applied to a water bottle
Used in a journal or planner
Applied to a laptop or similar surface

For Other Products:

Real-life use and display situations

Content should be clear, well-lit, and suitable for use in marketing materials.

5. Review Requirement

Creators must leave an honest review of the product on the Ruane Design website.

The review must:

Include at least one image of the product
Be based on the Creator's genuine experience with the product
Be submitted within 21 days of delivery

Ruane Design reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, inappropriate, or unrelated to the product.

6. Content Ownership & Usage Rights

By participating in the Program and submitting content, you grant Ruane Design a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, and unrestricted licence to use, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, distribute, display, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the submitted content in any format or medium.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Website content
Product listing pages
Product galleries
Advertisements
Social media posts
Email marketing
Printed marketing materials
Future promotional campaigns

Creators acknowledge and agree that:

Submitted content may be edited, cropped, resized, combined with other content, or modified.
Ruane Design is not required to credit the Creator when using submitted content.
No additional compensation, royalties, commissions, or payments will be provided for content usage.
All submitted content may be retained and used indefinitely.

7. Creator Warranties

By submitting content, you confirm that:

You created the content yourself.
The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
You have permission from any identifiable individuals appearing in the content.
The content does not contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or misleading material.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruane Design from any claims arising from a breach of these warranties.

8. Damaged or Lost Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective, Ruane Design may, at its discretion, provide a replacement product.

Photographic evidence may be required.

Replacement products will not restart or extend Creator obligations unless agreed by Ruane Design.

9. No Returns, Refunds or Exchanges

Products supplied through the Creator Program:

Cannot be returned.
Cannot be exchanged.
Cannot be refunded.
Cannot be redeemed for cash or store credit.

As products are provided free of charge for promotional purposes, no monetary value is assigned to the order.

10. Failure to Provide Content

If a Creator fails to fulfil the content requirements within the required timeframe, Ruane Design reserves the right to:

Exclude the Creator from future collaborations.
Disable future Creator Program access.
Refuse future promotional offers.

11. Fraud & Abuse

Ruane Design reserves the right to cancel orders, revoke participation, or remove access to the Program where it reasonably suspects:

Multiple accounts are being used.
False information has been provided.
Abuse of discount codes.
Attempts to resell products obtained through the Program.
Any other misuse of the Program.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ruane Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the Program.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
